Patti Frazee

Copywriting
With a Master's in Creative Writing and a background in non-profit administration, Patti is uniquely qualified to write business copy and promotional campaign materials. She has written everything from annual reports to newspaper ads, fundraising letters to video scripts, grants to back-of-book copy. Oh, and she's written a couple of novels, too.


Grantwriting
With a background in nonprofit administration, Patti knows the importance of funding sources. She has written several grants for nonprofits and grants for her own writing career. She understands how to read P&Ls and Balance Sheets. She knows how to write a compelling story that will grab the attention of the grantor.


Critique of Work
As a teacher and writer, Patti has performed workshops for other writers and helped them hone their craft. As a professional editor, Patti has a keen eye for how to make a manuscript even better.

Patti can help authors strengthen their work, release old habits, and create new, powerful ways of looking at their writing.


Teaching
Patti has been a teacher since 2002, when she began teaching at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. She has been on panels at the Loft Literary Center, Hamline University, and the Associated Writing Program conference. She has taught classes on creative writing and the writing process and, most recently, she has talked to university students and professional authors about how to self-publish.
